Robin Charmant has been working in the music space for over 20 years. He started off his career as a sound technician after having graduated from the SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Brussels. After several years spent recording, producing and booking local acts he launched a music startup in Montreal focused on building mobile websites for bands.

In 2010 Robin integrated the company Rendez-Vous Digital as lead project manager specializing in the monetization of back catalogs for record labels.

Managing hundreds of thousands of sound recordings brought the team to conceive a tailor made catalog management system over the span of 10 years. It was then decided that launching an online service focused on centralizing music assets mirrored on the CMS Rendez-Vous Digital had built for itself was the path to follow.

Robin now acts as CSO for Reprtoir, a state-of-the-art catalog manager built for labels and publishers.
