Cat Cohen is a longtime ASCAP/NARAS songwriter, composer, author, teacher, and blogger with songs recorded by Cheryl Lynn, Syreeta, Freddie Hubbard and Bo Diddley as well as cuts featured in the HBO movie THE RAT PACK and the Universal feature film UNDERCOVER BROTHER. His children’s operetta THE NOT SO GREAT ESCAPE was commissioned by OPERA PACIFIC and performed in schools throughout the Southern California area. His CD of jazzy-bluesy originals SONGS OF SURVIVIAL AND SWEET SURRENDER was highly rated in Keyboard Magazine.
