Dani Grant is one of those tenaciously hard-working, creative entrepreneurs who has transformed a deep passion for music into her life’s work. Dani owns and manages a legendary and historic music venue located in Northern Colorado, Mishawaka Amphitheatre. This venue has hosted incredible international, national and local acts, and it’s unique vibe and natural beauty attracts concert-goers from around the world.
Dani understands that music and the arts are powerful economic drivers, and collaboration is the key to success. So she founded SpokesBUZZ Fort Collins, a grassroots nonprofit that develops emerging artists and promotes the thriving local music scene to grow the local economies on the Front Range of CO. SpokesBUZZ closed in 2016 after 8 years of incredible advancement for artists and Colorado’s music scene. Subsequently, Dani founded The Mishawaka Initiative in 2017 to continue granting support to local artists and the art community.
To complement her roles as venue owner and local arts and culture champion, Dani also has served on many boards including WESTAF Denver Music Task Force and Rocky Mountain Media Corp (CSU). She currently sits on the board of directors for the international organization Music Policy Forum and Community Radio of Northern CO – KUNC/The Colorado Sound. Dani attended George Washington University undergrad and Denver University, Daniels College of Business. She is an Owner and Managing Member of Chippers Lanes, and lives with her husband and three daughters in Fort Collins, Colorado.
